Mark your calendars and plan to attend a gumbo potluck for the Travis Peak Community. It will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026. We will start around 5:00 PM at the church building located at Singleton Bend Road and RR1431. Fix up a batch of your signature gumbo and bring a pot of it. If you don’t have gumbo, bring the fixings to go along with gumbo Desserts are welcome too. Rumor has it that there will be some homemade ice cream present.
Bring your choice of instrument along. We will have a session of picking and grinning. There will be a sound system available if you want to bring your microphone or electric instrument to plug in. Friday, 2/20, around 6:00 PM Kent will host a jam session if you would like to come and get familiar with the folks singing on Saturday night. Bring a sack of food for dinner or eat before you come. Anyone is welcome to come to the jam session and just listen.
