Ray Crowder, Executive Director of Central Texas Children’s Home, will be our guest speaker Sunday morning, July 8th. He will be speaking in both the adult auditorium class and the worship.

New Year’s Eve

Sunday, December 31st (New Year’s Eve) Brent Franques will be bringing the sermon at 11 am.

There will be a New Year’s Eve fellowship after the 6 pm service on December 31st. Bring finger foods, drinks, and your favorite game. There will be fireworks from Camp Hensel at midnight.

Announcements 8-20-2016

Travis Peak will be having a special contribution on Sunday, August 28^th for Eastern European Missions (EEM) ‘Million Dollar Sunday’. Money from this special contribution will be sent to EEM to help provide Bibles to public schools in Ukraine, Croatia and Romania. EEM will also use the money collected to provide Bibles in Arabic and Farsi to refugees moving into Eastern Europe. For more information click here.

Ladies Bible study starts back Wednesday, September 7^th at 10 am. We will be continuing a study from last spring based on Lottie Beth Hobbs’ book “Daughters of Eve”. More information will be posted later.

Sunday, September 11^th, Paul Renganathan of Chennai, India will be speaking in the morning adult auditorium class and the worship hour. Paul leads a ministry in India that started in the early 1980’s with 14 people and now has spread to over 50 congregations. He is also director of World Bible College and is involved with a number of orphanages and christian schools.

Also, Sunday evening September 11^th our youth will start their Leadership Training for Christ Bible bowl class. This year’s theme is “Make Him Known” taken from Acts 17:23. This Sunday evening class will be studying the book of Acts to prepare our Bible bowl teams for the conference in Dallas April 14-15, 2017. For more information click here.

We are having an ice cream social Monday, July 4^th at 7 PM at the building. Bring homemade ice cream if you can, store bought is fine too! Also bring your favorite card and board games to share for an evening of fellowship.

Monty Tuttle from Eastern European Mission will speak to the adult Sunday morning class and worship hour on July 10^th.

The pantry list for July is chicken helper, canned chicken, canned corn, canned peaches and vegetable soup (family size).

A new series on the study of grace will start in the morning adult auditorium class this Sunday, June 19th. The study will look at living God’s grace in our everyday life.

Wednesday, June 22nd is our monthly singing night. There will be no regular classes, everyone will meet in the auditorium for an evening of worship in song.

Monty Tuttle the Regional Development Officer from Eastern European Mission will be speaking in both our Sunday morning adult class and worship hour on July 10th. Monty has visited us before and will be updating us with all the amazing things God is doing in Eastern Europe!

On Sunday, June 12th, for Evening Service, Travis Peak will have a guest speaker. Randolph Prentice Sr., a missionary from Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, will be in the Auditorium to talk about his work. He is supported by Smithwick Church of Christ.
