Wednesday, March 20, 2024 a new Bible study series on 1 and 2 Chronicles will start. If you’ve been thinking of joining a small group Bible study this would be a good time. The first class will be an introduction to the books. Here is the outline and a list of the first set of lessons:

The class is at 7 pm and meets in the back fellowship area of the building.

Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24th there will be a time of worship at 11 am with songs, readings from the Gospels and communion. The 10 am auditorium adult Bible class will be cancelled that day. Wednesday, December 27th the mid-week 7 pm Bible study will not meet.

The 10 am auditorium class on The Gospel will resume Sunday, December 31st. The mid-week Bible study The Early Christian Letters will resume at 7 pm Wednesday, January 3rd with the first lesson on the letters of John.

Our mid-week Bible study is cancelled this Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve. Instead, there will be a special service of thanksgiving at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to come join the service in the auditorium. The mid-week Bible study will resume Wednesday, November 29th with the next lesson in The Early Christian Letters series, “Stand Firm” (1 Peter 5:1-14).

The Travis Peak Community Garage Sale will take place on Friday and Saturday, November 3rd and 4th from 10am-4pm at the church building. Donations this year will used to buy Christmas gifts for the Central Texas Children’s Home. Donations can be dropped off at the church building on Thursday, November 2nd. Travis Peak Church of Christ is located 6 miles west of Lago Vista off of Hwy 1431.  The building is located on the corner of Hwy 1431 and Singleton Bend Road.  Turn south on Singleton Bend Rd. It is the white building on the left as you turn from 1431.
