Shawn Hull will be a guest speaker this Sunday, October 4th during the 10 am Bible study and at the 11 am service. He has worked at Cherokee Home for Children since 2012. He currently serves as the Director of Development.
Our Wednesday evening Bible study on the book of Ezekiel is cancelled this week (9-16-2026). It will resume the following week with the next lesson “A Prophecy for Pharaoh”, Chapters 30:20-31:18.
The Travis Peak Community Garage Sale will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 17th and 18th from 10am-4pm at the church building. This Thanksgiving Eve (November 26th) there will be a special service of thanksgiving at 7 pm at the building. August 6th and 13th the Wednesday evening Bible study will be cancelled for those two days. The class will resume August 20th with Ezra 6:1-22, “Completion of the Temple”.
There will be a workday at Hensel Camp Saturday, July 19th starting at 7 am to help clean up debris and materials from the Cow Creek flood. You will need gloves, and work clothes. With the ongoing operations next door at Camp Hensel and the debris that still needs to be delt with in the Travis Peak area tonight’s Bible study is cancelled.
