This Sunday evening at 6 pm we will be showing a video lesson from Ray Vander Laan’s series “Death and Resurrection of the Messiah”. The video continues in Jerusalem and provides the historical, cultural, religious and political contexts of the events of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday) before his crucifixion.
Ladies Bible class is cancelled for Wednesday, October 17, 2018 due to the weather. Class will resume the following Wednesday with the start of a new study based on the book “Prescriptions For A Woman’s Soul” by Brenda Rollins. The class meets every Wednesday at 10 am at the building.
Saturday, November 3rd there will be a Family Game Night at the building from 6-9 PM. Please bring your favorite game, finger foods and drinks.
There are lists posted on the bulletin board in the foyer for next year’s subscriptions to the Christian Chronicle, Power for Today, and Gospel Minutes. Please sign up or take your name and address off these lists by the end of October.
What a wonderful day of giving we had on Sunday. Our special contribution for Eastern European Mission was $781.00 and for World Christian Broadcasting $601.00. These funds help plant the seed of salvation all over the world. Thanks again to your out pouring of giving!
Travis Peak collected $351.18 for the Central Texas Children’s Home “Giving for change makes cents” can drive. Thanks to everyone who participated in this effort you are to be commended.
On September 30th there will be a special contribution for World Christian Broadcasting. Missionaries the world over rely on their broadcasts to substantiate and affirm the message they preach.
